INGLEWOOD resident James Daly has given up working at a law firm to become a personal concierge.
Mr Daly’s company, Professional Help, delivers personal concierge and home assistant services to overworked professional people.
“Many people already have assistants in the workplace who help shoulder the load, so we aim to provide that same help in your personal life,” he said.
Mr Daly said he could take care of almost anything.
“I will book holidays, send Christmas cards, you name it,” he said. “I’m also helping someone with garden landscaping.”
He said the personal concierge service was already successful in the UK and US.
“People love the idea,” he said.
“Many businesses even offer the service as a benefit to their directors, allowing them to have their grocery shopping or gift buying done for them.”
Mr Daly charges $15 per 15 minute block.
